A coworker offered to bring me to Costco and use her membership. For those of you that aren’t familiar, Costco is like Sam’s Club. For those of you that aren’t familiar with Sam’s Club, it’s like a giant warehouse where you can buy all the things you’d find at a grocery store in bulk for less than they typically cost.
I had marvelous plans to stock up on all of life’s essentials:
Toilet paper for the next five years? Check.
Enough shampoo for Rapunzel? Check.
Batteries for all the electronics in my neighborhood? Check.
When I walked out of the store, I didn’t have toilet paper, or shampoo, or batteries. I had 72 ounces of chocolate chips.
72 ounces. That’s 4 and a half pounds of chocolate…
Remind me when I run out of toilet paper next month that I chose to buy chocolate chips instead.
